Welcome to this introductory online resource on Communities of Practice in Higher Education.
The resource explores the practical enablers and barriers in using community of practice theory to:
- Inform pedagogy and enhance the student learning experience
- Facilitate the development of teaching networks
- Shape research collaboration and promote interdisciplinary work
The resource consists of six online study workshops, case studies of communities of practice and video clips in which colleagues talk about the possibilities and challenges they have faced.
